Hmm… that’s a familiar looking student silhouette. Oh! It’s that guy who first showed up back in episode nine! Hmm… poor fellow didn’t even get a name back then. I wonder if we’ll find out who he is this time?

Sleen certainly makes a compelling case for not getting in trouble, but my finely-honed lecturer senses detect that he might just know more than he’s letting on.

Sure, you might think Skellaron is being overly dramatic. And K’Reen certainly does. But Lemrin knows the horror of which Skell speaks. Knows that such matters of dread import must be treated with the respect and caution they deserve. And if this might perhaps involve putting off starting the marking for absolutely as long as possible, then surely this is a price worth paying?

Speaking from experience, you’d be amazed at how many other urgent and useful things you can find to do when the alternative is big pile of work to mark. Also! Breek fans! Please soak up this week’s strip, as this will be the Best Bird’s last appearance for a while. Don’t worry, if we all hold Breek in our hearts then we’ll never really be without him.

Look! More Breek as promised! Admittedly he doesn’t really do very much this episode, but he’s still the best bird. Lemrin meanwhile, is clearly being a bad husband. Bad Lemrin! Bad! I hope Frain gives him a bop on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper and then maybe he’ll learn.

Yay, Breek is back! Breek was definitely the breakout star of the first few episodes of the series and a clear hit with the readers. I immediately moved to capitalise on this and make him a more integral part of the story going forward. Now, a mere 38 episodes since his last appearance, he’s back! And um… he might be in next week’s episode a little bit too! Maybe!

First Year essays probably aren’t actually that bad, but I wouldn’t know because, thankfully, I don’t actually have to mark any. Marking in general is fine once you get started (and even better once you get finished). But actually getting started is the bit I struggle with and hence, so does Lemrin.

Annnnnd welcome to Part Four: Lemrin Spur Must Have A Jolly Nice Time With No Serious Injuries. Wait, what? That’s not the title of the chapter? Hmm. What is the title then? Oh. Oh dear. Um… Sorry Lemrin! And er… good luck!

Oh dear! That’s a wrap for Chapter Three and it looks like we have a bit of a cliffhanger on our hands! But what is Streeve actually up to? And just who is the mysterious accomplice wishing Lemrin such ill-will? Only time, and probably a few more chapters will tell.

Hmm indeed! It rather looks like Lemrin might have just tugged on one of the ongoing plotlines that has been quietly stitched into the background of the series. Now, the question is, will the plotline tug back? Tune in next week to find out!
